2. Solution Implementation

The SC500M was integrated directly into the weighing workstation as the local HMI and data-handling terminal. Its 12.1-inch touchscreen provides operators with clear access to weighing data, job information, and routine control functions during each production cycle.

Floor Scale Operation
The panel PC can be mounted on a stand beside the weighing platform. Weight data from cartons, containers, raw materials, or pallets is displayed through the weighing software for operator review and confirmation.

Weight and Job Data Display
The interface can present gross, tare, and net weight together with product ID, batch number, operator information, time, and job status. Operators can enter or confirm data directly from the touchscreen.

Barcode and Record Handling
Barcode scanners can be connected to identify products, batches, or work orders. The scanned information can be linked with the corresponding weighing record for production and warehouse traceability.

Conveyor Weighing and Printing
In conveyor-based systems, the IPC can display live weight values, production counts, job status, and print controls as cartons pass through the weighing section. For vertically coupled parallel print weighers, the weight record can be associated with the relevant label or print information.

Peripheral and Network Integration
